terrific traffic vows

Bangalore has now a days grown out of its proposition has a big fat problemof slow moving traffic during the peak hours. An office goer has to leave atleast 1.5 hours earlier to his officehours commencement to travel a short distance of less than 10 Km in his own 2wheeler or car. The villian being the Metro woks or the road widening project, which closes the major part of the road allowing the vehicles to move through the narrow path. During this hours we have a number of BMTC buses and Autos plying makes the swift movements a tough job. The worst are the Hosur road and the Old Madras road which houses a large number of ITandITES Industries. The other road is Bellary road which has the most of the upcoming ITenterprises. This road has all the newly developed residential layouts. There is number of privatebuses as well as the BMTC busses running through these roads packed with people. Almost 500 to 600 buses pass through in short time of 1.5 hours that means roughly a bus in every 10 sec. athese roads have almost nil green coverage and the area is highly polluted. If it continues there will be lot of health problems to the road users.

there are Emu plying in the cities like pune. Even Coimbatore and Palghat has the services of EMU between the two places.Bangalore has already got the double track between tumkur Bangalore, between Kengeri and bangalore, between Whitefeild andBangalore The only the line to hosur is a single line and that has very less traffic. If the Railways experimentally run diesel push pull trains between white feild and tumkur, bet. Kengeri and yelahanka/doddaballpur,bet.Hosur andTumkur with a gap one hour in the morning and evening only . This will drastically reduce the use of two wheelers and buses ,which inturn reduce the pollution .Furthur it may increase thebetter road sense and reduce the travel time. The state and central government must think about this as this may not be a costly project.
